Private sector investment in climate change adaptation has been relatively low due to a high perception of risk and low returns. The V20 and the African Development Bank are piloting results-based financing models to de-risk and incentivise private sector investment in Adaptation. This discussion aims to explore innovative funding instruments and mechanisms to support adaptation investments and showcase examples in the agriculture sector.
